Meet The Speaker - Simon Hicks of 3rd Indo- European Conference on Standards & Emerging Technology to be held on 26th April 2018 at Hotel, The Lalit New Delhi http://sesei.eu/event-3rd-indo-european-conference/ Simon Hicks ETSI General Assembly Chairman, UK Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) Simon leads on ICT technical standards policy for the UK government and is based in the @dwp-department-for-culture-media-and-sport-/ (DCMS). He is Chairman of the General Assembly of ETSI. He is the UK representative to the European Commission Multi-Stakeholder Platform for ICT standards and is active in a range of global ICT standards and technology work, focusing on areas of concern to society and government. Simon is a Chartered Engineer and began his civil service career in the UK Ministry of Defence.
